We call our teachers mentors.
Because the role goes beyond teaching.
At All Gifted School, every student has a weekly synchronous 1-on-1 session with their course mentor. If a student is taking two courses, they will have two weekly sessions — one with each subject mentor.
This is not a recorded lecture. Not a chatbot. Each session is a live conversation between mentor and student — reviewing progress, answering questions, and planning what comes next.
One mentor per course. One student at a time.
What mentors do.
Respond within 24 hours
Every assignment submitted gets a personal response from the student’s course mentor within 24 hours. Not just a grade — a conversation.
Weekly synchronous 1:1 session
Each student has a weekly live video session with every course mentor — to review progress, answer questions, and plan ahead.
Track every student
Mentors monitor each student’s progress continuously — adapting their approach to what each child needs, not what the class average needs.
Elective guidance
Mentors help students select relevant electives, including AP courses and university dual credit courses, to build a strong academic profile.
Meet some of our mentors.
Mentor profiles are being updated. Here is a sample of who your child will work with.
Mr. Paul
Mr. Paul is a Senior Mentor at All Gifted School. Students describe him as patient, kind, and genuinely invested in their success. He has guided students across multiple countries through their English and Social Studies curriculum.
“He is like our grandfather — kind and easy to talk to.”
— N.M., Student, Thailand
Dr. Sue-Ann Lim
Mensa Foundation Award for Excellence in Research (2023–2024). Her research on gifted adolescent learning, published in Instructional Science (Springer, 2023) and co-authored with UNSW Sydney professors, provides the scientific foundation for how AGS teaches.
“She was in her early twenties when she conducted this research. She was doing what gifted children do when given the right environment: she flew.”
— Pamela Lim, Founder
